Body and Facial Waxing

Waxing is the most common of hair-removal techniques in spas today.  In this treatment, cool or warm wax adheres to the hair and is pulled off in strips.   There are two kinds of wax: hard and soft.   Hard wax is usually better for more delicate areas like the face, underarms, and bikini because it is easier on the skin.  Soft wax is good for the coarser hair on the legs, arms, back and chest.  For many areas of the body we use both types of wax.

Waxing reduces hair growth when performed at regular, thirty day intervals.   While shaving crops the hair even with the skin, waxing pulls it out by the root, so it grows back softer and thinner.  Waxing is great for those who are tired of the hassle of shaving several times per week-the more times that you wax, the less hair grows back.  Waxing should not be performed if you have extremely sensitive skin, however we do have special waxes that are great for most sensitive skin.  .  Don't wax if you're taking Retin-A, Accutane or any type of acne prescription medication.

Let the hair you want to have waxed grow out to about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch above the skin.   Also refrain from taking a shower or bath before the treatment because soaking the hair will soften it, allowing it to break more easily and making waxing less effective.

You will be clearly explained what to expect during waxing as well as home care after your session.   Waxing is available for both men and women, evening and week-end appointments for your convenience.   We use the best quality of wax available for your comfort.   Discreet, professional and sanitary waxing services.   Our clients always come back.
